Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis dalam Concept Attainment Model

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah di jurusan pendidikan matematika khususnya mata kuliah analisis real, di samping itu secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah, mendeskripsikan, dan membandingkan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis antara mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran concept attainment model dan pembelajaran konvensional secara keseluruhan. Desain penelitian ini adalah two groups randomized subject post- test only dengan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Islam Riau, yang terdiri dari 60 mahasiswa pada semester IV tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes tentang kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang terdiri dari 3 indikator. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji parametrik (Anova 2 jalur) atau non parametrik. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiwa yang menggunakan pembelajaran Concept Attainment Model (CAM) lebih baik dari mahasiswa yang menggunakan Pembelajaran Konvensional (PK) ditinjau secara keseluruhan.
