ANALISIS PERENCANAAN DAN PENANGGULANGAN BANJIR STUDI KASUS SUNGAI CIBERES KAB. CIREBON

Sungai Ciberes merupakan sungai yang selalu menjadi daerah langganan banjir, ini dikarenakan
adanya pengendapan sedimentasi baik di hulu sungai maupun di darah muara sungai Ciberes, di sungai
Ciberes ini terdapat bendung Waled.
Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada sungai ini yaitu dalam DAS ini sedimentasi sudah sangat
tinggi maka takheran apabila sungai ini selalu banjir, selain itu kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat yang
membuang limbah/sampah kedalam sungai yang tentunya akan berpotensi meningkatkan banjir yang ada,
tingginya curah hujan dalam 2 tahun terakhir
Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh intensitas hujan yang tinggi dan debit yang sangat besar selain
itu sungai Ciberes Kapasitas tampung sungai Ciberes saat ini adalah 48.2 m3/set, sedangkan menurut debit
rencana yaitu adalah 173.8 m3/set, sehingga dapat kita ketahui sungai Ciberes berpotensi banjir. Dan hal
ini perlu adanya kegiatan normalisasi sungai sehingga dampak banjir dapat di minimalisir.

ABSTRACT
Ciberes River is a river that has always been a subscription area of the flood, this is due to
sedimentation both upstream and in the river Ciberes estuary, the river Ciberes is contained Waled dam.
The problem that often occurs in this river is in this watershed sedimentation is very high then the
river if the river is always flooded, other than that the lack of awareness of people who throw waste / waste
into the river which would potentially increase the existing flood, high rainfall in 2 years the latter
Based on the results of analysis obtained high rainfall intensity and very large discharge besides
Ciberes River Capacity of Ciberes river current is 48.2 m3 / set, while according to the plan debit is 173.8
m3 / set, so we can know Ciberes river potentially flood. And this is necessary for the normalization of the
river so that the impact of flooding can be minimized.
