ANALISIS DAN PERENCANAAN JALAN PADA RUAS JALAN LEGOK - JIPANG

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Transportasi darat (jalan raya dan jalan berbasis rel) adalah pergerakan arus manusia, kendaraan dan barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya dengan menggunakan jaringan jalan. Jalan adalah bentuk infrastruktur utama yang memiliki peran vital dalam kehidupan karena aspek distribusi adalah satu dari tiga aspek pembentuk ekonomi selain produksi dan konsumsi.

Brebes merupakan kota kecil di pesisir utara ujung paling barat wilayah Jawa Tengah. Letaknya yang berada di jalur lalu-lintas pantai utara (Pantura) dan merupakan pintu gerbang ke Jawa Tengah dari arah barat di samping berbatasan dengan wilayah Jawa Barat, menjadikan daerah ini sebagai kota lintasan yang cukup penting. Kabupaten Brebes terdiri atas dataran rendah, dataran tinggi, pegunungan dan perbukitan dengan iklim tropis yang bercurah hujan rata-rata 18,94 mm; curah hujan maksimum 347 mm dan curah hujan minimum 2 mm. Kondisi itu menjadikan kawasan tesebut sangat potensial untuk pengembangan produk pertanian seperti tanaman padi, hortikultura, perkebunan, perikanan, peternakan dan banyak lagi. Kota Brebes dengan letaknya yang strategis, yaitu di persimpangan jalan utama pada pertengahan Pulau Jawa, Kabupaten Brebes memegang peranan penting bagi kelancaran transportasi darat di Pulau Jawa. Mengingat pentingnya peranan Kabupaten Brebes bagi kelancaran transportasi darat, maka kelayakan prasarana transportasi yang terdapat di kota tersebut harus benar-benar diperhatikan.

Pada ruas jalan Legok - Jipang yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Bantarkawung adalah ruas jalan yang berada di Kabupaten Brebes tepatnya di jalur Provinsi Kec. Bantarkawungyang memiliki ketinggian ±323 meter diatas permukaan laut. Oleh karena itu volume lalu lintas di daerah tersebut tidak cukup padat, dikarnakan kurangnya prasarana tranportasi d jalan tersebut kurang di perhatikan.

Berdasarkan hal tersebut di atas kabupaten Brebes atau tepatnya di jalan Legok - Jipang perlu di adakan pembangunan jalan baru, dengan adanya pembangunan jalan baru akan lebih mendukung kelancaran tranportasi, kenyamanan dan keselamatan di jalan tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Land transportation (highways and rail-based roads) is the movement of the flow of people, vehicles and goods from one place to another using road networks. Roads are a major form of infrastructure that has a vital role in life because the distribution aspect is one of the three aspects that shape the economy besides production and consumption.

Brebes is a small town on the coast north of the westernmost part of the Central Java region. Its location is in the northern coast traffic lane (Pantura) and is the gateway to Central Java from the west side adjacent to the West Java region, making this area a fairly important trajectory city. Brebes Regency consists of lowlands, highlands, mountains and hills with a tropical climate that has rainfall averaging 18.94 mm; maximum rainfall of 347 mm and minimum rainfall of 2 mm. This condition makes the area very potential for the development of agricultural products such as rice, horticulture, plantations, fisheries, livestock and many more. Brebes City with its strategic location, namely at the main crossroads in the middle of Java Island, Brebes Regency plays an important role for the smooth operation of land transportation on the island of Java. Considering the important role of Brebes Regency for the smooth operation of land transportation, the feasibility of transportation infrastructure in the city must be taken into account.

On the Legok - Jipang road, located in Bantarkawung Subdistrict, the road is located in Brebes Regency, precisely in the Province of Kec. Bantarkawungyang has a height of ± 323 meters above sea level. Therefore, the traffic volume in the area is not sufficiently solid, because the lack of transportation infrastructure in the road is less noticed.

Based on the above, Brebes district or precisely on Legok - Jipang road needs to be carried out for the construction of new roads, with the construction of new roads will further support the smooth transportation, comfort and safety on the road.
