Kota Cirebon dengan luas wilayah administratif 3810 Ha merupakan kota yang sedang berkembang dalam pembangunan gedung bertingkat guna menunjang sektor perdagangan dan jasa. Dalam mewujudkan potensi pembangunan tersebut, perlu diperhatikan kapasitas dukung tanah di Kota Cirebon agar fungsi dari gedung tersebut maksimal. Untuk mengetahui kapasitas dukung tanah perlu dilakukan penyelidikan tanah salah satunya ialah uji sondir.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persebaran kapasitas dukung tanah dan klasifikasi lapisan tanah di Kota Cirebon berdasarkan pengujian sondir yang berjumlah 50 lokasi yang tersebar di 5 Kecamatan Kota Cirebon yaitu Kecamatan Kejaksan, Kesambi, Pekiringan, Lemahwungkuk dan Harjamukti.

Hasil penelitian ini yaitu menampilkan pemetaan kapasitas dukung tanah berdasarkan uji sondir di Kota Cirebon menggunakan peta administrasi Kota Cirebon.

Cirebon city with administrative area of 3810 hectares is a growing city in the construction of multi-storey building to support the trade and services sectors . In realizing the development potential , to consider the soil bearing capacity in the city of Cirebon to the function of the building up . To determine the soil bearing capacity of soil investigation needs to be done is to test one sondir .

This study aims to determine the distribution of the soil bearing capacity and soil classification in Cirebon based testing sondir totaling 50 locations in 5 Districts namely Sub Kejaksan Cirebon City , Kesambi , Pekiringan , Lemahwungkuk and Harjamukti .

The results of this study is to show the mapping of soil bearing capacity based on test sondir in Cirebon using administrative map of Cirebon .
